Last weekend Simon and Jack ran a workshop to build a 4.5m ger (a structure similar to a yurt) on the rooftop of Wolff Olins’s London office. It was constructed by local teenagers involved with an organisation called Global Generation and members of the public. It formed part of the London Festival of Architecture programme. The outcome was a very beautiful, efficient structure that proved to be surprisingly strong.
