In recent years we have celebrated Christmas with a lunch for members and assistants in one of the many good local eating pubs. This year, as in 2014, we decided to look outwards and host a party here at 115, inviting family and friends to share the occasion. At the centre of the event was a brazier burning workshop offcuts. We drank home-brewed ale and ate home-cooked food – a meat stew (Jack’s) and a vegetarian stew (Dan’s). The atrium, looking exceptionally clear and tidy, was decorated with lights, including a long row of candles (designed and made by Duncan) that burned serenely.
