Ben runs videography production company Shine a Light Productions. Clients include Google, Philips and Hotel Chocolate as well as many of London’s higher education institutions: Imperial College London, the Royal College of Art, University College London and King’s College London.

Ben also writes and directs documentary and fiction films.
His documentaries have explored topics such as nationalist Russian cheesemakers: War & Cheese (2016), Harry Potter-obsessed Cuban youths: Spelliasmous (2017) and eccentric Italian chefs: Heart & Soul (2015). In 2017, War and Cheese was longlisted for that years Bafta Short Film Award.
His fiction portfolio spans comedy and drama and includes a series of comedy sketch collaborations with BBC Sketchorama regulars Mixed Doubles, Virgin Media Shorts and the Sundance ‘Time is Now’ competition shortlisted drama Homey (2013).
